Terms of Use

Meyers-Reynolds values you as a customer, and we take very seriously our obligation of keeping your personal information private.

This notice is intended to describe how we use and protect nonpublic personal information (information that identifies you personally and is not otherwise available to the general public). We will inform you of our policies the first time we do business and every year after that you are our customer. In addition, we reserve the right to change our privacy policy or practices in the future and if we do so, we will send you a revised privacy notice.

We collect information that we believe is necessary for us to administer our business, to offer you insurance products and services, and to provide you with quality customer service.

The type of information that we may collect and gather varies according to our products and services, but may include:

  • Information on applications and other forms (such as your name, address, telephone number, social security number, taxpayer ID number, assets and income.)
  • Information such as policy coverages, premiums, and policy history from your transactions and dealings with us and with others.
  • Information from a consumer-reporting agency such as motor vehicle and credit reports.
  • Information from our web site such as “cookies”, IP address, activity data, operating system and web browser.

Privacy Policy

Meyers-Reynolds does not sell your customer information to anyone, nor do we share it with third parties outside of our organization that would use your personal information for purposes such as direct marketing. If we were ever to begin this practice, we would provide you (with adequate response time) the option to opt out.

In the course of conducting business, we may use customer information to tell you about products or services which may be of interest to you. We may also, without authorization but only as permitted by law, provide customer information to persons or companies outside of Meyers-Reynolds in order for them to perform services for us on our behalf or in response to lawful requests from regulatory and enforcement agencies. Some examples would be investigating or handling claims, fulfilling a transaction you have requested, servicing your policy, detecting or preventing fraud, or responding to a subpoena. In addition, we expect persons or organizations that provide services on our behalf to keep customer information confidential and to use it only to provide the services we have asked them to perform.

We protect information on former customers in the same manner as we protect the information on current customers.

Meyers-Reynolds communicates the need to protect your information to those individuals who may have access to it, and we have established physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect customer information.

If you have any further questions or concerns concerning our privacy policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
